Job Description
We are looking for a Product Owner to organize, prioritize and assess work for our scrum team.
The Product Owner has a significant role in quality and is empowered to accept user stories as completed. This role has significant relationships outside the local team, including working with the product manager to prepare for the PI Planning event. This role is responsible for supporting one or more teams within the organizations Agile Release Train, and ensuring the pipeline (backlog) stays full and is prioritized.
Responsibilities:
Managing features and stories from a customer perspective; identify, communicate and break down features to MVP; Develop user stories from prioritized features; Strives to maintain a holistic view of product and ensure that the end-to-end experience is strong;
Prioritizes and sequences business features and stories to maximize business value delivered while maintaining a sustainable pace for the teams
Providing sign off to accept each user story
Develops the acceptance criteria for the project – i.e., a succinct statement that defines when the project is done.
Manages change request resolution with Business Sponsor and IT. – In collaboration with Release Train Engineer (RTE) and Scrum master
Effectively works with the team and stakeholders in a collaborative relationship
Collaborating with other Product Manager to uphold business priority and vision
Demoing, reviewing and accepting user stories
Works closely with architects to ensure that they provide the necessary architectural requirements to adhere to but does not get directly involved in providing the technical solution.
Champions efforts to accomplish vision, goals, and objectives.
Ensures Agile Team is building to a future state vision.
Qualifications
– Incorporate feature requests into product roadmap
– Groom and prioritize backlog
– Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria
– Set sprint goals
– Write acceptance tests
– Follow progress of work and address production issues during sprints
– Analyze preferences and requests of end users
– Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback
– Able to get input from stakeholders like customers, end-users, team, managers, etc.
– Able to align teams on product vision, release goals
– Trained in Kanban and/or Scrum, and PO practices
– Able to build strong interpersonal relationships with multiple stakeholders
– Creative thinker willing to consider various solutions to a problem
– Flexibility to handle rapid change and multiple tasks at once
Qualifications Experience
– 3-5 years of product owner experience; 2 years of related experience with technology interface and agile experience
– BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field
– Knowledge of Bourse will be a plus;
– Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle
– Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies
– Team spirit and good communication abilities
– Product Owner of multiple applications or teams in disparate trains

– Participate in teamwork
– Discipline and professional ethics.
– Assist software personnel in handling project related work and other requirements
